Selection of Candidates
Southeastern seeks a student body that represents diverse backgrounds. Each year students from the U.S., Greece and approximately 60 other countries enroll at Southeastern. In addition to their high school records, recommendations and placement test scores, the candidates' special abilities and interests are also given careful consideration in the evaluation process.

Students are encouraged to file an application approximately sixty (60) days prior to the beginning of the semester of enrollment to ensure adequate time for all necessary records to be received and evaluated. The application must be accompanied by the €100 application fee (which covers a part of the processing expense and is not refundable). The processing of this completed form by the Office of Admissions will immediately designate the student as a final applicant to the Center. Subsequently, a copy of secondary school credentials must also be filled with the office of admissions. The personal statement and recommendation letters are important but non compulsory.
The evaluation of an applicant's credentials begins as soon as all of the application materials have been received.
The application form can be either downloaded in Acrobat format or obtained from the Office of Admissions. The processing of the completed form by our Office will immediately designate the student as a final applicant to the University.
The application procedure ends with an interview that each candidate is required to have, during which personal qualifications including character and breadth of interests are evaluated.
Admission of Transfer Students
Incoming transfer students have their credits and coursework evaluated by Southeastern administration cooperating with the respective Chairperson of the department offering the program to which they have been accepted. Students are encouraged to file and application at least sixty (60) days prior to the beginning of the semester of enrollment to ensure adequate time for all necessary records to be received and evaluated. Each applicant must arrange for official transcripts of all previous University records to be sent directly to Southeastern. Current bulletins of all the institutions previously attended may be requested. Additional material may be required for a particular program of study.
For admission into the Southeastern programs, applicants must submit:
1. Completed application (SOUTHEASTERN)
2. Proof of English fluency or sitting for the English Language Placement Test.
For Science, Engineering, Pharmacy, etc. a Mathematics placement test is also required.
3. Official copy of High School certificate (Apolytirio or its equivalent) in English. (An English official translation of the original transcript is required).
4. Two letters of recommendation.
All international students (excluding citizens of EU countries) accepted to Southeastern need to apply for a visa in order to study in Greece/European Union.
