Τα προγράμματα σπουδών του ΑUA για τα πτυχία Bachelor και Master έχουν σχεδιασθεί, σύμφωνα με τις οδηγίες της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης και επιτρέπουν στους απόφοιτους του ΑUA, να αποκτήσουν την ιδιότητα του μέλους, την άδεια ασκήσεως επαγγέλματος δηλαδή, στην Βρετανία.

Και σύμφωνα με την εξομοίωση  πλέον της επαγγελματικής με την ακαδημαϊκή αναγνώριση των άρθρων 3,11 και 12, 13 της οδηγίας ΕΟΚ 2005/36, που τίθεται σε αυτόματη και πλήρη εφαρμογή από τον Οκτώβριο του 2007, δεν υφίσταται πλέον καμία διαφορά μεταξύ του ΑUA και των Ελληνικών Κρατικών ΑΕΙ.
