PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

ADMISSIONS

Many graduate students have just completed their undergraduate program. Others work for several years in a variety of career choices before pursuing graduate studies.

Application to the AUA School of Graduate Studies requires special forms which are available at Kifissias & Sochou 4, Neo Psichiko, Athens 115 25.

Graduate School admissions are based on the following criteria:

  • Application
  • University degree – certified copy
  • Official translation in English from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Greek students or a similar translation for other nationals
  • Two recommendation forms to be completed by professors and/or employers
  • Resume or curriculum vitae

This should include your education, work experience, objective, hobbies, activities, interests, and any related accomplishments.

THESIS REQUIREMENTS

Students are required to submit a master's thesis at the end of their program which counts for 8 to 12 credit hours. The range in the credit hours allocated to the thesis is designed to accommodate the students' professional needs since they can select the minimum number of credits if they wish to do less research and writing. Alternatively, they may select the thesis with the 12 credit hours if they prefer less class time.
